Behind the scenes, the studio has undergone a significant shift.

With support from the Rural Development Project at Caerphilly County Council, we have invested in new production equipment, including a Jigger Jolly machine, custom plaster moulds, and a de-airing pug mill.

This marks an important step in the evolution of MJC allowing us to scale thoughtfully, increase consistency for our hospitality partners, and refine our processes without compromising the integrity of handmade production.

It is a quiet but deliberate investment in the future of this small, South Wales plate-making company.
